About Bela
Bela Piocza passed away in the summer of 2022, and this tournament is played in his honour.
Bela was a true Ridge Meadows guy, deeply involved in sports throughout the community, coaching ball hockey and soccer teams for the better part of two decades. He was also a fixture in our Monday and Friday golf group, and without question the biggest character among us.
He would have loved this tournament. He would have been the life of the party, first to needle you about a shanked drive and first to buy the next round. This day is for him.
